Kyle Korver and Carlos Boozer, Utah Jazz players no more.

It’s funny but I haven’t read local news today. Well, technically, I meant yesterday, since it’s already past midnight as I’m writing this. I don’t know what’s happening here in Metro Manila, much less the country. Got caught up with so many chores that piled up I never had the chance to sit down and pore through local news online. I did finish most of my laundry back-log though. The Wifey and I finished our groceries shopping and we managed to stay home for a home-cooked dinner instead of eating out. Win! And then some more chores. Still no time for catching up with the news.

Just a short while ago, I sat down, fired up the usual feed readers to scan a few international headlines. Nothing new. Still the same wretched world we live in. Ah, sports! Everyone is still talking about Paul the Octopus and the so-called “The Decision,” no surprises there. Then, BOOM! I still haven’t gotten over the fact that Carlos Boozer is now a Chicago Bull, now I’m reading that Kyle Korver is following Booze to the Windy City.

Drats.

Deep inside, Deron Williams is not going to be happy. He’s probably envious of them now.

And I’m not happy either, Utah Jazz.

Oh, well. Just one of those unusually weary Saturdays. (Did I even touch Twitter today, er, yesterday?) I was thinking of writing some stuff that’s a little more “serious” in nature but I’m calling it a night. I’m going to sleep.
